Get to Know Captain Jana
Captain Jana is the driving force behind Northern Beaches Boating, bringing over 20 years of water sports expertise to our team. Raised in northern Germany, Jana’s childhood was spent on the water, leading her to study Sports Science with a focus on windsurfing, sailing, and power boating. Her adventurous spirit took her across Europe and beyond—teaching water sports in the Canary Islands, Turkey, Greece, and northern Africa.
In Australia for over 15 years, Jana has worked as a Senior Instructor for Australian Sailing and is now the Deputy Chief Windsurf Instructor. She trains and mentors future sailing, windsurfing, and powerboat instructors, blending her extensive knowledge with her passion for the water.
Through Northern Beaches Boating, Jana merges her lifelong love for the water with her commitment to creating extraordinary experiences in nature. We invite you to join us and make your own memories on the water. Hop on board, and let the adventure begin!

We plan for every possibility. We have clear and concise emergency procedures for all situations and register every tour with Marine Rescue NSW. The emergency procedures form part of a safety briefing for every tour.

Passenger Briefings
Pre-departure safety briefings are run for every tour to ensure all guests understand the safety measures on board and safety protocols that keep us all safe while on the water.. We ensure that all guests are aware of safety procedures and equipped with the necessary knowledge for a comfortable and secure journey.
