Lovett Bay

Lovett Bay is one of the breathtaking bay fingers spreading across the watery Sydney suburb of Pittwater. Lovett Bay is home to the stunning house built in 1925 for Dorothea Mackellar, famous for her poem ‘I Love a Sunburnt Country.’ It is now inhabited by Susan Duncan, who wrote the award-winning memoir Salvation Creek about the area.

The bushland behind the houses in Lovett Bay and its neighbours is part of the national preserve, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park—a pristine 37,000-acre stretch of wildlife with no roads running through it. This serene bay is perfect for floating on our mats or simply relaxing on your boat, while enjoying the natural surroundings and watching the local wildlife.

Morning Bay

Towlers Bay was renamed Morning Bay in 1984, though both names are still used interchangeably. Morning Bay features two arms and two beaches, with the base of the bay filled with intertidal sand flats that extend 100 metres into the bay.

Morning Bay Beach is the more accessible of the two beaches. This 60-metre long beach is surrounded by bushland and features a small creek at its eastern end, a swinging tree rope, a beach waterfall, and swimming holes. Its calm, shallow waters extend far from the shore, making it ideal for swimming and relaxing. The bay also offers stunning views of Scotland Island.

Northern Beaches Boating Perry Beach Landscape

Perry Beach

Perry Beach is pure nature at its finest and is one of our favourites. With its crystal-clear waters and shallows, this tiny strip of beach is only visible when the tide is low. Perry Beach is ideal for a swim, float, relaxation on our floating mats, a snorkel, or sunbathing—serenity at its purest.

The Basin

The Basin Campground is the only spot where you can camp in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. This large, grassy area overlooks Pittwater, offering beautiful surroundings and scenic views.

It’s easy to see why this waterfront campground is so popular. At The Basin, you’ll find excellent facilities, including a picnic area, a sheltered beach, and an inland lagoon. Take a wander around and you might spot an iguana, swamp wallabies, or the local kookaburras.

Portuguese Beach

Although Portuguese Beach lies just across the water from Palm Beach, you might be lucky enough to have this isolated spot all to yourself!

This 80-metre long beach faces east, and the surrounding land mass provides excellent protection from westerlies as well as the hot setting sun in summer.

Portuguese Beach and its bay are the perfect quiet spot to anchor our boat, enjoy one of our grazing boards, and take a swim.

Resolute Beach

Tucked away on the western shores of Pittwater, Resolute Beach is a tranquil haven accessible only by boat or a scenic walking track. With its emerald-green waters, soft sandy shoreline, and breathtaking views of Pittwater, Broken Bay, and Barrenjoey Headland, this hidden gem offers an unmatched sense of serenity. Ideal for swimming, floating, or simply relaxing, Resolute Beach’s calm waters make it perfect for a peaceful escape. Enhance your experience with one of our curated grazing boards while soaking in the beauty of this secluded paradise.

Fabulous crisp winter morning with the sun beaming, zooming across Pittwater with an intimate group of girlfriends was a lovely way to celebrate life!

Jana was a perfect skipper and host, serving up a magnificent grazing board of yummies, dodging in out of little coves around the harbour, searching for ideal swimming spots, and all with the utmost attention to safety.

Highly recommended NBB for a different kind of celebration.
